English Homestay Accommodation

Most students stay with a host family during their time with us which gives a great opportunity to practise speaking English and to take part in normal family life. All our host families are carefully selected by us and will give you a warm welcome and take care of you while you are here. Many of our students return each year and stay with the same host families as they have become friends and will often stay in touch.

When you arrive in Bridport your host family will collect you from the station and help you settle in quickly. They will also show you to the school where you will be having lessons. Homestay accommodation is the best way to improve your English as well as experiencing English culture and way of life. Homestay accommodation will include:

• Being warmly welcomed into the family
• A clean single or twin room
• A study area
• Access to internet (by arrangement)
• All meals and snacks, drinks etc
• Bath / shower facilities
• Clean towels and bed linen each week
• Reasonable amount of laundry
• Being encouraged to speak English at all times
• Adequate heating and lighting
• Taking part in normal family life

Most host families are within walking distance of the school, other students will be collected by minibus.

Hotel and B&B Accommodation

Hotel accommodation is available if preferred. There is a good choice of hotel accommodation in Bridport or outside the town. Alternatively there are many boarding houses offering good value bed and breakfast accommodation.
